When women start knowing their worth the decisions we make as a whole will be smarter ones. Recently I was put in a situation that I feel took away my choice as a woman. Honesty and loyalty is important to me. So I often question if I should speak up about the recent events that took place. Is it my place to say anything? Would I want to know of the roles were switched? I’m not sure of those answers and because of that I’ve stayed silent.
However, what someone doesn’t know WILL hurt them if they find out, that eats me up. Ignorance is not bliss, it’s ignorance—period. One thing I know is that being someone’s secret is not fun and I would hate to be in that position. I refuse to be apart of dishonest and dysfunctional situations so when and if things come to light I’m sure to remove myself quickly. Be very careful with your love choices. If you outwardly claim a person and they only claim you “on the low”, what does that really mean? Often times as females we fight for what WE WANT but not what we need and we are often blinded by good dick. Sorry for the vulgarity but it’s true. Sometimes leaving is worth more than that amazing sex and sometimes that heart breaking truth will save you. Holding on to someone who at every turn lets you slip and a look fool is insane. If he cheats to get you then he just might cheat on you to get to her. Don’t be foolish. Be aware. Be with someone who is loyal. Be ok with the security of your choices. Love isn’t blind, secretive or destructive. What you think might me an infinite circle of love is nothing more than a whirlwind of confusion. Build a solid foundation.
